Who is the Counseling Center?We are a group of highly trained, experienced psychotherapists committed to helping people in a confidential and comfortable setting. |
Where are you located?The Counseling Center is in Bronxville, New York which is located in southern Westchester County. We also have satellite offices in Scarsdale and Manhattan. |
What are the Fees?The fee range is $150 to $200. Special consideration for residents of Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Eastchester. Limited funding available for fee adjustment for people with demonstrated financial hardship. |
Will I be able to use my insurance?None of the psychotherapists on our staff are participating providers in insurance networks including Medicare. However, many insurance plans have very good out-of-network benefits which would allow you to pay the bill to the psychotherapist directly and then be reimbursed by your insurance company for a portion of the bill. |
Are there any sorts of problems you do not treat at the Counseling Center?Our clients come to the Center with a wide range of issues. Some clients have very specific short-term goals that they want to work on while others have more long-standing problems that they want to address. There are cetain issues that we do not handle at the center. If your primary concern is addiction, then The Counseling Center is not the best place to seek treatment. If you need to see a psychotherapist as part of a legal/custody case, the Center would not best serve your needs. And finally if you have a long history of psychiatric hospitalizations, we would not be the place to seek treatment.
